Kaylee and Jeremy's Wedding at The Mill Top in Noblesville, Indiana

I love photographing weddings at the Mill Top in Noblesville. The staff there are top notch—even though I often confuse them by not doing what all the other photographers do. Ha! This wedding it was, “You want to hang the dress there? Everyone always hangs it on the wrought iron doors???” Its hard to explain to someone that I’m not trying to fill out my Instagram with the photos I make. I’m trying to tell and story…and that photo of Kaylee sitting down to write her letter to Jeremy with the dress hanging beside her was the “dress photo” I had hoped to make. I am so glad it happened! It’s one of my favorite shots of the year.

Like so many couples, Kaylee and Jeremy had to change their wedding date because of the virus so they had to wait a little bit longer to make it official, but in the end I think they had the perfect day!

A Ritter - Miller Wedding at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville, Indiana

Way back in February of 2020, before we knew the world was about to change, we thought the biggest hurdle dodged for this wedding was getting it in before all the snow melted. I had just gotten back from visiting my sister in Boston and had no idea that this wedding at Hidden Hollow Farm in Crawfordsville, Indiana would be the last “normal” wedding I’d photograph. I am so glad it was this one though.

I’ve been photographing this family for many years. My first ever introduction to them was Haley’s high school senior photos—and now she was getting married. Other than feeling impossibly old, I was so excited to document this day. This family is…big. They are numerous in number yes, but they have big personalities. They laugh freely and smile often. They get into trouble and love with big emotions. I know its always going to be a good time photographing the Ritters. Plus, they totally trust my process of “pose for two seconds and then have fun” by now.

I would say that I hope Nick knows what he’s getting into but when I met him for a short family session before I left for Boston, I knew he would fit in just fine…and when I saw him crying when Hayley came down the aisle and when he danced with his mom, I knew for sure.

A Frat Wedding in Terre Haute, Indiana

This was one of the most unique weddings of the year. Maybe even the most unique of my entire career. It’s not everyday that you get an email that says “We are getting married at a Frat House!” Rachel and Josh had a small wedding ceremony with family and friends on the grounds of a Fraternity in Terre Haute, Indiana. The crew really pulled it together and the day was an absolute blast. Beautiful and laid back. It fit Rachel and Josh’s vision for their day perfectly.

A Fall LGBTQ Wedding in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Samantha and Erykah’s Wedding in Fort Wayne had one of the highest images delivered for 2020 and you can see why below. They had a full day of smiles and hugs from friends and family which means I had a blast running around capturing all the moments. Plus, it was Erykah’s birthday so she got gifts in the morning and surprised with a cake at the reception!

These two held their Wedding at Ceruti's Banquet & Event Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana and it was a great space for a party! I even found some green space for photos out back behind the venue to take advantage of the last of the Fall colors.

A Tour of Wedding Photos in Fort Wayne Indiana

The Sutherland wedding in Fort Wayne was one for the books! They had their ceremony was in The Auditorium of the Freemason’s Hall in Fort Wayne and their Reception was held in the Ballroom of the Freemason’s Hall, but we also went around town to get some wedding photos at The Botanical Garden in Fort Wayne and some Wedding Party photos at Promenade Park in Fort Wayne. We even met up with their parents for family photos out by the Allen County Courthouse.

We had an excellent time exploring the city and having a lot of laughs! I am so glad that I got to document this day!
