Color and Black and White
Did you know that you get a black and white copy of every photo I deliver? That’s because I LOVE black and white photos and if it were up to me to choose then 80% of your gallery would be black and white :P
Summer weddings often mean that we are out in the woods taking photos. You probably put on some nice perfume or cologne before the actual ceremony, but trust me, you’re going to sweat it all off by the time we get to pictures. So put a little bug spray on. Doesn’t have to be heavy but it may save you from getting eaten by mosquitos and itching a thousand bumps during your honeymoon :P
One of the perks of having 15 years of experience is working out the best ways to get through formal photos quickly. Instead of calling out each and every group individually, we work down from one big group. So we’ll start with Everybody—Cousins, Aunts, Boyfriends, Spouses Kids, then we’ll remove spouses and kids, then we’ll remove cousins, then we’ll remove aunts and uncles, next we’ll remove grandparents, then parents, and siblings. Easy peasy. If you have a BIG group of full family, sometimes it takes a minute to wrangle them all for the big photo but once they are there, they don’t have any other chance to step away and get distracted until we are done with them :P
