A Frat Wedding in Terre Haute, Indiana

This was one of the most unique weddings of the year. Maybe even the most unique of my entire career. It’s not everyday that you get an email that says “We are getting married at a Frat House!” Rachel and Josh had a small wedding ceremony with family and friends on the grounds of a Fraternity in Terre Haute, Indiana. The crew really pulled it together and the day was an absolute blast. Beautiful and laid back. It fit Rachel and Josh’s vision for their day perfectly.

A Fall LGBTQ Wedding in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Samantha and Erykah’s Wedding in Fort Wayne had one of the highest images delivered for 2020 and you can see why below. They had a full day of smiles and hugs from friends and family which means I had a blast running around capturing all the moments. Plus, it was Erykah’s birthday so she got gifts in the morning and surprised with a cake at the reception!

These two held their Wedding at Ceruti's Banquet & Event Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana and it was a great space for a party! I even found some green space for photos out back behind the venue to take advantage of the last of the Fall colors.

A Tour of Wedding Photos in Fort Wayne Indiana

The Sutherland wedding in Fort Wayne was one for the books! They had their ceremony was in The Auditorium of the Freemason’s Hall in Fort Wayne and their Reception was held in the Ballroom of the Freemason’s Hall, but we also went around town to get some wedding photos at The Botanical Garden in Fort Wayne and some Wedding Party photos at Promenade Park in Fort Wayne. We even met up with their parents for family photos out by the Allen County Courthouse.

We had an excellent time exploring the city and having a lot of laughs! I am so glad that I got to document this day!

Alison and Haden's Coxhall Garden Wedding in Carmel, Indiana

When wedding restrictions went into place in the early summer of 2020 Alison and Haden had to decide what to do with the big wedding they had planned to celebrate not only their nuptuals but also Allison’s graduation from law school. It was an event years in the making that suddenly needed to be changed. They decided to keep their original date for the ceremony and move their reception to next year. Luckily, Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, IN had some availability for a short wedding ceremony in their beautiful amphitheater.

The day was hot and sunny. If you’re a photographer, you know that outdoor weddings on hot sunny days can be a bit of a challenge but thanks to some creative angles and my signature candid style, I don’t think you would ever know!

This day was one of my absolute favorites of the year. Alison got ready at home with her sisters (new and original) and her mom and grandma oversaw all the fun moments! During the processional, it became clear that grandpa needed a little extra stability for all the stairs and Haden literally leapt into action to help. As someone whose been married for over a decade, I knew in that moment that these two have a strong future.

I’ll get to meet up with these two and their lovely families again next year and I know its going to be just as much fun as this day was!

A Vintage Inspired LGBTQ Wedding in Indiana

Kaila and Cortney’s day made my day! Kaila is a lover of all things vintage and she used that theme in their decor. She incorporated details from both of their friends and family members whose spirits could be felt all day watching over such an important moment in their lives. They also chose a custom cake to be sure their pups were a part of the day even though they had to stay at home. Everything was completely them. From the song sung by Cortney’s brother to the Twist and Shout breakdown on the dancefloor.
