At Home Photography Session in Fishers, Indiana

One of the things I loved about photographing weddings for so many years was getting to photograph in a new location every week. Now I do the same with family sessions! I’ll come to you. We can shoot at your house, around your neighborhood, or even pop over to a local park. Your backgrounds can be even more meaningful when paired with the lifelong memories you create everyday in that space.

I photograph a lot of families before or after big moves. So if you just bought your first house…or are getting ready to sell your first house…consider booking an in-home photography session to capture the new milestone in your life.

In home family sessions can be booked at anytime for any reason. My photography sessions are always all inclusive, so you’ll get travel to your location, an hour session, full resolution digital files, and printing rights for one price. I know life can get hectic so there is also never a reschedule fee if something comes up and payments are usually made at the session unless prepayment is easier for you.

Let me know if you are interested in getting your next milestone photographed! I’d be happy to be a part of your memories <3

The Best Kept Secret in Anderson, Indiana

I love my (not so little) little town. Always have. I grew up here and I don’t really want to leave if I can’t help it—crossing my fingers that remote work sticks around for the long haul. One of my favorite things about Anderson is the trail system we have here. If you’ve ever had a family photography session with me, you know that I like to go for a walk and just take pictures as we go. I do this for a plethora of reasons: one being, it breaks up the monotony of a session so we can get kids in a good mood for longer and two, it helps to have a journey to focus on in between photos so there is less anxious energy for both adults and kids. ALSO, it means you get lots of different backgrounds during your shoot. We may even find something unexpected.

Like a lake.

This spot is one of my favorites to take people and it doesn’t get used by photographers very often so you don’t typically have to worry about a bunch of other people to be in the background of your photo :P That is one of the many perks to hiring a local photographer for family photos. We know all the best kept secret locations <3

The Dog Days of Summer | Indiana Family Photography in Monticello, Indiana

The early summer rain pushed and pushed this family session back until we finally found a day where everyone could get together for this awesome family session—of course it was blazing hot, but this group took it in stride and I am so glad they went for it, despite the heat. And bonus, they all brought their dogs! I love it when families include their pets in the family photos!
