Celebrate the Milestones While You Can

I love photographing kiddos! They are so much fun and have so much energy! Always ready to laugh and — most of the time — be cooperative. Parents of kiddos 1-6 enjoy it! These are the easiest photos will ever be for you, haha. Once they get close to the preteen stage, they will no longer see photo sessions as a fun adventure. It’ll be an obligation and they will fight you about it. That’ll last until they are AT LEAST 25 so…buckle up. lol. In the meantime, I’ll keep reassuring my clients that have younger kiddos that even though the session seemed chaotic, we got great shots. :P

Make Your Group Photos Your Own

Justin brought some colorful sunglasses for the guys and they added a little fun to the more formal part of the day. We will still get all of the “nice” photos that your grandma wants but its okay to have a little fun too!

Make Your Momma Happy and Get Her A Photo Session with the Grandkids

If I’ve learned one thing from photographing families for fifteen years it’s that Grandma’s LOVE being grandmas. They are SO PROUD of their kids growing up and having kids of their own. Even when they spread out all over the world to raise their families. So, on the rare occasions when everyone is back in town, please, for the love of all grandma’s everywhere, book a photography session! You won’t regret it <3

Writing Their Own Vows

Julia and Harold decided to write their own vows to each other before their first look instead of the actual wedding ceremony. I thought this was a great and unique idea!

Mom and Dad Get A Photo

I know, I know. You booked the session for the kids, but when was the last time you had a photo of the two of you? Your wedding? Maybe someone else’s wedding? I won’t actually MAKE you get a photo of just the who of you but I highly, highly, highly recommend it. I don’t do hard caps on number of “poses” for this very reason.
